For over 40 years, the Los Altos Mountain View PTA Council has been granting scholarships to teachers for professional development, made possible through donations from the Egan family and through annual contributions from our PTAs and PTSAs. The PTA Council is pleased to have the opportunity to support those teachers who are looking for ways to further their professional knowledge and skills. We encourage you to apply for this outstanding opportunity!
The Ardis Egan Scholarship is now accepting applications for the 2025–26 school year. Teachers in LASD, MVWSD, and MVLA who meet the eligibility requirements can receive up to $300 for individual professional development, or up to $600 for group applications of three or more.
If you're familiar with our scholarship there's one BIG difference now:
New for This Year:

What the scholarship can be used for:
Courses, conferences, workshops, and other professional development activities that support teaching growth. (Please note: funds cannot be used for food, classroom supplies, or equipment. Housing for travel is allowed.)
